I miss that hat… but I miss the bottle of Country Rose from Galena Cellars we downed during out walk around Lake Geneva even more!

I am by no means a writer, nor do I pretend to be… but I believe that one of my purposes in this life is to help share those stories that might otherwise go unheard. I went on to study acting and theatre in college for that same reason until I reached the point where none of the stories spoke to me anymore, none of the lessons excited me or challenged me… and I found myself thoroughly burnt out and ready to move on to the next chapter in my life. It just so happens that not too long after I made the decision to leave that part of my life behind that I found the World of Wine. A 750ml bottle of fermented liquid that has been assembled by sometimes hundreds of hands, spent countless hours “resting” before its ready for consumption and then potentially traveled thousands of miles just to end up at your dinner table… I knew right then and there that one day I would love to help share the stories behind the bottles that spoke to me! We all have our own journey to go on in this life and I hope that as you read along, you will find something the sparks your imagination and curiosity.

Over the course of these blog posts, you’ll find me as well as a few equally as nerdy WineFriends providing our thoughts about everything the ancient and gloriously indulgent world of vino has to offer.
